一、名词性从句定义

      名词性从句，通俗点说就是一个句子（从句）在另一个句子（主句）中做主语、宾语、表语、同位语、介词宾语等，相当于名词的用法。名词性从句根据在句子中所做的成分又可分别称为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。

二、如何判断名词从句

1、找从句法

      从关系词开始到第二个谓语动词（分词、不定式不算谓语）之前结束（如果没有第二个谓语动词就是到句子末，）就是从句， 

  eg:

       What you are doing recently is a mystery.   关系代词what,  主语从句

       How you made it confused us.   关系副词how ,主语从句  ；made it 成功，confuse v. 使....不解。

       We will never know whether there are ghosts out there.   关系副词whether ,宾语从句

       They believe that they can get there through their efforts.   that连接词 ，宾语从句

       The question is whether you had the right to live there.        关系副词whether , 表语从句  

       Our dream is that we can be admitted by one of the world's Top 500 companies.    that连接词，表语从句 ，

2、去从句法

      去掉句子中的从句后，缺什么就是什么从句,

eg:

       We will never know whether there are ghosts.   缺宾语----》宾语从句

       We will never know the place where there are ghosts.   同位语从句

       They believe that they can get there through their efforts.   that连接词 ，宾语从句

       They believe the truth that they can get there through their efforts.   同位语从句

3、选择连接词法

      分析句子中的连接词，具体规律如下表格：

eg:

     What he wants to tell us is not clear. 他要跟我们说什么，还不清楚。

     Who will win the match is still unknown. 谁能赢得这场比赛还不得而知。

     China is not what it used to be. 中国已经不是过去的中国了。

     That is why you see this woman before you know.这就是现在这位女士出现在你面前的原因。

三、其他知识点

1、情态动词不能单独做谓语，情态动词后面必须接动词原形。

      常见的情态动词有can (could)、may (might)、must、need、ought to、dare (dared)、shall (should)、 will (would)。

2、doing,done,to do 不是谓语动词。

      否定转移句型：第一人称+think\believe  ,

eg: We don't think you are here. ->我们认为你不在这里。

      I don't believe he will do so.-->我相信他不会这样做。

5、what做表语时需要翻译成：.....的样子。

6、谓语从句

      不是：doing ,done, to do

      组合：情态动词+do 

                do/does/did(not)+v.

                has/have/had(not)+done

                be+done
